Commercial meeting rooms and executive conference spaces often struggle with sound clarity during long discussions due to sound reflections bouncing off large conference tables and surrounding hard boundaries. Traditional drop ceilings can feel visually oppressive, while basic flat panels lack the dimensional surface needed to disrupt localized echo right above the voice source.

Engineered Solution & Design

To address localized acoustic reflection while providing task illumination, the space was specified with a suspended PET wave-pattern acoustic ceiling cloud featuring integrated linear LED lighting. The continuous undulating geometry maximizes surface area to absorb sound waves directly over the seating zone, while the slim linear light channels deliver functional downlighting without cluttering the overhead architecture.

Performance & Compliance

Engineered from high-density, 100% recyclable PET felt, this suspended cloud system provides high noise reduction efficiency (NRC rated) to improve speech intelligibility. Fully compliant with ASTM E84 Class A fire safety and low-VOC standards, the lightweight fixture comes with adjustable steel cable suspension hardware for precise height alignment in modern commercial interiors.
