Enclosed executive offices and private study spaces frequently suffer from poor speech intelligibility caused by sound reflections off flat ceilings and surrounding hard surfaces. Standard surface-mounted acoustic panels often lack the surface area needed to diffuse mid-to-low frequency noise, resulting in unwanted flutter echoes during high-stakes video conferences and focused work sessions.

Engineered Solution & Design

To optimize room acoustics without compromising overhead clearance, the ceiling was specified with a custom PET wave-pattern acoustic baffle system. The continuous undulating geometry significantly expands sound absorption surface area to capture vertical sound reflections, while the teal finish delivers a refined architectural statement within the recessed wooden ceiling frame.

Manufactured from high-density, 100% recyclable PET felt, this suspended ceiling solution achieves superior reverberation reduction (high NRC rating) while fully complying with ASTM E84 Class A fire safety and low-VOC indoor air quality standards. The lightweight, pre-cut baffles allow for seamless grid installation, providing a turnkey acoustic treatment for high-end commercial and residential interiors.
