Modern open-plan offices and collaborative workstations often suffer from visual distractions and ambient noise pollution generated by foot traffic and nearby conversations. Traditional solid partition walls restrict natural daylight and compromise space flexibility, while standard office dividers lack the acoustic dampening needed to minimize sound transmission across open work zones.

Engineered Solution & Design

To balance spatial privacy, light transmission, and sound control, the space was outfitted with custom CNC-cut hanging PET acoustic screens. Precision-cut with an intricate geometric lattice pattern, these suspended felt dividers effectively diffuse lateral sound waves while allowing natural light to pass through. The dark blue finish, paired with subtle ceiling-hung cable hardware, creates an elegant architectural zone divider above individual desk clusters.

Performance & Compliance

Fabricated from high-density, 100% recyclable PET polyester felt, these lightweight hanging partitions deliver high sound absorption (NRC rated) to mitigate background speech reverberation. The material fully complies with ASTM E84 Class A fire-safety and low-VOC indoor air quality certifications, providing specifiers with a safe, flexible, and sustainable acoustic partitioning system for commercial office fit-outs.
