Modern residential bedrooms with minimalist interior designs often suffer from high noise reflection and internal echo caused by unabsorbed ambient sound. Traffic noise, hallway footfalls, and vocal acoustics easily reflect off plain drywall surfaces above bed headboards, disrupting restful sleep quality and failing to deliver the tactile, cozy ambience expected in high-end master suites.

Engineered Solution & Design

To establish an acoustically quiet sanctuary while enriching interior textures, the bedroom headboard wall was finished with 9mm precision-carved PET acoustic panels in a soothing forest green. Routed with smooth, concentric curved grooves using multi-axis CNC machinery, the contoured surface diffuses incoming sound waves and prevents flutter echoes. Installed seamlessly directly behind the pillows, the rich felt texture interacts gracefully with warm bedside lighting, doubling as an artistic upholstered headboard alternative.

Performance & Compliance

Crafted from 1200g/sqm high-density, eco-friendly PET polyester fiber, the 9mm panel matrix delivers an impressive NRC 0.85 noise reduction coefficient to absorb mid-to-high frequency airborne sounds. The CNC-milled grooves feature clean, fray-free edges that withstand continuous physical contact from bedding without surface pilling. Fully certified under strict OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for zero formaldehyde emissions and meeting ASTM E84 Class A fire safety regulations, it ensures a healthy, quiet, and safe sleeping environment.
