Modern open-plan living rooms with hard flooring, smooth cabinetry, and extensive wall areas frequently encounter acoustic reverberation issues. High-frequency sound reflections from entertainment media, conversation, and daily footsteps easily bounce off unabsorbed surfaces, degrading overall home speech clarity while failing to deliver a sophisticated, tactile interior wall finish.

Engineered Solution & Design

To blend high-performance noise reduction with a rich architectural aesthetic, the main living room accent wall was outfitted with 9mm embossed PET acoustic panels in a warm terracotta rust tone. Featuring an interlocking geometric brick/lattice pattern, the sculpted 3D relief surface actively traps sound energy and breaks up planar wave reflection. Installed seamlessly behind floor cabinetry, the dimensional pattern adds depth, warmth, and a high-end tactile quality to residential interiors.

Performance & Compliance

Engineered from 1200g/sqm high-density recycled PET polyester fiber, the 9mm embossed panel delivers an NRC 0.80 noise reduction rating, significantly dampening flutter echo and ambient household chatter. Precision thermal embossing creates clean, wear-resistant relief edges that maintain structural crispness under daily touch. Fully compliant with strict ASTM E84 Class A fire-safety standards and certified for low-VOC indoor air emissions, the non-toxic material provides an uncompromisingly safe, quiet, and healthy living environment.
