High ceilings combined with hard finishes reflect ambient speech and crowd chatter, causing elevated noise levels, poor sound intelligibility, and severe acoustic fatigue. Additionally, high-occupancy public venues enforce the strictest fire safety regulations for all interior cladding materials.

Engineered Solution & Design

To meet rigorous life-safety compliance while elevating space design, the lobby reception wall features a carved PET acoustic panel system in a classic light grey felt finish. Precision-milled with a customized geometric chevron pattern, the sharp CNC-cut grooves diffuse sound waves and disrupt flat-surface echo reflection. Installed seamlessly behind modular public seating, the linear pattern delivers dynamic visual movement and tactile texture to expansive architectural surfaces.

Performance & Compliance

Engineered from flame-retardant, high-density PET polyester fiber, the carved acoustic panels achieve a high sound absorption rating of NRC 0.85 to damp vocal resonance. Rigorously tested and certified to ASTM E84 Class A (US) and EN 13501-1 B-s1, d0 (EU) fire safety standards, the material yields minimal smoke density and zero toxic off-gassing under heat exposure. Resistant to physical impact and color fading, it ensures long-term structural integrity and life-safety compliance for high-occupancy venues.
