Back-to-back sit-stand benching systems in modern tech offices often suffer from direct line-of-sight distractions and localized speech spillover between paired users. Full-height office screens block ambient light and restrict the independent vertical travel of motorized desk frames, while plain modesty panels fail to dampen high-frequency keystroke noise and direct sound reflections across the shared desktop border.

Engineered Solution & Design

To deliver localized acoustic isolation without sacrificing space flexibility, the desk was fitted with a light-gray PET felt privacy screen featuring precision CNC-routed circuit patterns. The geometric groove design diffuses direct sound waves while adding a clean, modern aesthetic. Designed with soft rounded corners for safety, the screen secures onto the desk edge using heavy-duty, low-profile aluminum clamps, moving synchronously with the desk during height adjustments.

Performance & Compliance

Precision-machined with a 45° CNC chamfered edge to eliminate fiber fraying during daily use, the high-density PET felt panel delivers an NRC 0.85 noise reduction rating. The powder-coated aluminum clamp mechanism accommodates desk thicknesses from 15mm to 35mm with non-marking rubber pads to prevent surface damage and mechanical play. The ASTM E84 Class A fire-rated, low-VOC material resists pilling and allows easy dry-wipe maintenance.
