Individual workstations in agile offices often expose users to immediate acoustic noise and visual distractions from adjacent desks. Loose desktop setups lack direct sound absorption at the speech level, making it difficult for employees to focus during detailed tasks or confidential phone calls without building floor-to-ceiling office walls.

Engineered Solution & Design

To create localized privacy and acoustic damping, the desk was fitted with a desk-mounted wrap-around PET acoustic divider. Featuring a textured V-groove chevron pattern and soft rounded corners, the pink felt screen wraps around the rear and sides of the desktop to block peripheral vision and absorb direct voice reflections right at the desktop source.

Crafted from high-density, 100% recyclable PET felt, this durable desk divider offers excellent sound absorption (high NRC rating) while serving as a pinnable surface for notes and documents. The material conforms with ASTM E84 Class A fire-retardant safety and low-VOC environmental standards, delivering a safe, ergonomic acoustic furniture solution for modern office spaces.
