Creative design studios and architectural offices often thrive on open collaborative layouts, yet require acoustic dampening to mitigate continuous client calls and creative brainstorming clutter. Plain sound partitions lack the bespoke visual character required in design-focused environments, allowing ambient flutter echoes to travel freely across workstation rows without enhancing the studio's spatial identity.

Engineered Solution & Design

To unify sound control with an elevated architectural aesthetic, the workstation was fitted with a custom CNC-carved PET acoustic desk divider. Featuring a dense, precision-routed geometric starburst/lattice pattern in high-contrast black, the dual-layer carved grooves actively trap and scatter incoming sound energy. Mounted flush along the rear desk edge, the screen establishes a striking visual boundary that acts as a design centerpiece within creative spaces.

Performance & Compliance

Precision-routed via high-tonnage multi-axis CNC machinery, the carved pattern features clean, burr-free groove edges that will not fray or pull under daily contact. Built from high-density, fire-retardant (ASTM E84 Class A) PET polyester felt, the panel provides an NRC 0.85 noise reduction rating while maintaining rigid structural integrity. Certified for low-VOC indoor air emissions, the light-fast black felt resists surface pilling and allows easy maintenance via soft-brush vacuuming.
